 Thirty-sixth annual meeting of the Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR), October 16-27^th, in Hobart (Australie).

Some 250 marine scientists, resource managers and policy makers representing 25 international delegations,  will review current practice and consider new measures to conserve and manage marine ecosystems in the Southern Ocean.

Philippe Koubbi, UPMC Professor (UMR BOREA), scientific representative for European Union, will defend the project of a new proposal  from Australia and European Union, regarding  a proposed MPA (Marine Protected Area) in the East Antarctic region.
