Functional characterization of neuroendocrine pathways involved in control of reproductive physiology by the characterization of receptors/neuropeptides couples in the pacific oyster Crassostrea gigas
The objective of my PhD is to characterize GPCRs potentially involved in regulating reproduction and associated processes (mainly energy) in C. gigas reverse endocrinology. My work will focus on various receptors such as GnRH for which we have clues about possible involvement in regulating reproduction or processes associated with shellfish and other species bilaterian.
