Development of indicators for the assessment of Good Environmental Status (GES) of pelagic habitats in metropolitan French waters, under the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD). The work is based on the analysis of multi-source phytoplankton data (in situ observations, satellite imagery, and numerical modelling) to characterize the temporal dynamics of communities (trends, breakpoints, etc.) and to establish links with environmental and anthropogenic pressures.
