Sensitroph: From the shore, perceive the sea. What are the sensitive detours for trophic ecosystem models?
Rooted in environmental geography and aesthetics, Clara Breteau studies this section of our cultures that takes shape in direct contact with the sensitive world, while examining more particularly the way in which ecosystem complexity shapes our representations and practices of nature. Author of a doctoral thesis on the poetic fertility of ecological living styles oriented towards material autonomy, she is currently working on the perceptions of marine ecosystems that inhabitants of the Seine Bay develop from the shore, in the prospect of integrating a series of cultural indicators into the modeling of the impacts of climate change on food webs.
