Biological invasion risks posed by arthropod farming

Abstract

The global objective of this thesis would be to provide the first global assessment of the biological invasion risks posed by arthropods farming. In this thesis, we will use statistical models to characterize the profile of invasive arthropods and the potential for invasion of farmed species. We will study current and future scenarios of geographical areas at-risk of invasion (with respect to drivers of global change) with species distribution models.
