Etude de la réponse des estrans aux changements globaux par les Sciences Participatives : biOindication à l’InteRface sciences Société
Description
Rocky foreshores (the part of the coast that is submerged at high tide and uncovered at low tide) are rich ecosystems where biodiversity has adapted remarkably well. However, the organisms living there are being impacted by global change, which citizen science programs are trying to understand. The project ESPOIRS, based on the Observatory on Brown Algae and Molluscs (“Observatoire Algues Brunes et Bigorneaux”, BioLit), aims to document the long-term impact of two global change factors (pollution and climate change) on communities of macroalgae and molluscs on rocky foreshores.
